When it gets unbearably hot or the weather is just terrible…
the group that normally hangs out at the McCarren skate park moves a few blocks away to a dry spot under the BQE. I stopped there for a few minutes today to get away from the rain, chat with the skaters and take some photos. I’m hoping to spend some more time in the near future with these kids- they’re good people and aren’t afraid to be in front of the camera. Here’s a few of the photos…






The cleaners… There’s a section of clothes on the never-ending rack at the dry cleaners that look like they’ve been waiting there for years. Each time I see them I can’t help but imagine what’s hidden in the aging yellow bags as the zip past.
Key West… It’s one of my favorite spots. A small town, warm people and beautiful water all around. All you need is a bicycle, a swimsuit, a journal to write in and a good book to read.
